Graduation Information for the Class of 2024
Graduation will be on Friday May 24th, 2024 at 8am at the Dee Events Center at Weber State University. All students must be cleared by their counselor to graduate.
Cap and Gown Orders
All students who have met graduation requirements and want to participate in the graduation ceremony must order a cap and gown from Jostens.

Academic Honors Recognition
- More information for the class of 2024 coming soon.
4.0 Recognition
- Any student who has maintained a 4.0 GPA from their 9th grade year through their 12th grade year.
Perfect Attendance
- For students who do not have an absence in any class from their 9th grade year to their 12th grade year. Advisory classes are included in the tracking of attendance.
Seal of Biliteracy
The USBE’s Seal of Biliteracy certifies attainment of a high level of proficiency by a graduating high school student in one or more languages in addition to English, and certifies that the graduate meets all of the following criteria:
A. The USBE’s Seal of Biliteracy will be awarded to students who earn a Utah high school diploma and be proficient in English and at least one world language other than English, at the intermediate-mid level or higher, as demonstrated through an assessment from a list to be approved by the Superintendent of Public Instruction.
B. For purposes of this form, "world language" means a language other than English and includes American Sign Language and American Native Languages (Navajo, Ute, etc.)

Lancer Legion Pathway Award

Applications will be posted outside of the counseling center the beginning of March.

Applications are due to the counseling center by the end of March.

Qualifying applicants will receive a Layton High School Medallion plus a pin for the Lancer Legion Career Cluster their pathway fits under. Pins may also be received for other LHS recognitions.

The medal, with attached pins, may be worn with the graduation robe at LHS Senior Graduation.
