Juniors and Seniors can do a semester-long internship. 4 steps to doing an internship:

  1.  Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  2. During the open enrollment period, fill out the online application

  3. Be notified that you have been accepted into the internship class.

  4. Talk to your CTE coordinator and schedule two consecutive class periods for the internship.

A medical field and healthcare systems career exploration class. Students are given early direction of the many options available to them in a very competitive medical field as they explore the medical pathways through job shadowing, skill training experiences (intubation, suturing, IVs, vitals, CPR cert, etc.) and guest speakers.

Calling all future teachers. Have first-hand experience in the classroom and get paid doing it.

Consider calling her to make sure she received the application.  

Fran will find a school placement and let you know.

The school CTE coordinator will put the class in your high school schedule.

Magnet Classes

Are you working towards your Legion CTE Path Award, being a CTE Completer, or earning the College Certificate of Completion (COC) and a class you want is not offered at Layton High School? 

Take classes at another Davis School District high school.
