Juniors and Seniors do an internship!
Have reliable transportation.
During the application window, fill out the application.
Check your email for more information and notification that you have been accepted into the internship class.
Talk to your CTE coordinator and schedule two consecutive class periods for the internship.

Take Biotechnology 1010 @ Northridge HS
Help find solutions to life problems! Receive a National Biotechnology Certification. Jobs start at $20-25/hour and 6 figure jobs are easy to get in biotechnology. Take Junior or Senior year after or with Chemistry
The Tech Sales Pathway at Market Star provides our students the opportunity to participate in the world of sales in the tech industry. Market Star works with many high-profile companies, including Reddit and Exxon Mobil. Participants will work on different projects with employees at Market Star. This is a great opportunity for high school students. Students are guaranteed an interview at Market Star is they are interested in a job when the internship is completed.
Class will be held either 3rd & 4th or 7th & 8th. They will meet at Market Star in Ogden one day a week. It will be either Monday or Tuesday. The other day they will be remote working.
To participate students must be:
A junior or senior interested in learning more about sales and professional development.
In good standings with their grades and assignments.
Ready to dedicate 3.5 months to the internship

Program applications for the '26-27 school year will open mid-April.
'26-27 Cosmetology, Esthetician and Nail Technician applications are open, now.
Students will clock-in and out, attend a school for 1.5 hours on an A-day or a B-day, be a teaching assistant, and get paid for it!

Magnet Classes
Are you working towards your Legion CTE Path Award, being a CTE Completer, or earning the College Certificate of Completion (COC) and a class you want is not offered at Layton High School?
Take classes at another Davis School District high school.
